I chose to participate in the March to the Polls because the times we live in demand that we take a stand. There is much at stake—not only for us today, but for the future of our children, grandchildren, and this nation.
Our ancestors sacrificed and gave their lives so that we could freely exercise our right—not a privilege—to vote. I do not take that sacrifice lightly.
I marched to honor those who came before us, to stand up for those living today, and to protect the future of generations to come. Our voices matter, our votes matter, and we must do our part!
