Virtual Moral Monday: A Call to Conscience

On Monday, September 15 we invite you to join us for a national virtual “Moral Monday” action at 11 AM ET.

We will gather online to rally and hear testimony from poor and low-wealth people who are directly impacted by policy violence, including those impacted by the President’s Big, Ugly, Deadly, Destructive Budget Bill.

September 15 is also the anniversary of when four young girls (Denise McNair, Addie Mae Collins, Carole Robertson, and Cynthia Wesley) were killed in Birmingham, Alabama, by a Ku Klux Klan-led bombing of Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in 1963. Their caskets forced a nation to face the cost of hate.

We invite people of faith and no faith to join us online to say policy violence and hatred is still claiming lives, and we won’t be silent anymore!

You can watch the virtual Moral Monday on the Repairs of the Breach livestream page.
